Kafta is a Middle Eastern dish made by grinding meat, mixing it with spices, and forming it into balls or cylinders for cooking. Kafta is known by a variety of other names including kefta, kufta, and qofte, and there are hundreds of variations on this dish ranging from spicy lamb kftas grilled to vegetable koftas. Many Middle Eastern dishes offer some version of kafta, cooks can adjust the ingredients and accompanying foods as desired.

The most basic kafta is made from meat which has been very finely ground so that it turns into a smooth paste. The meat is mixed with spices like coriander, garlic, onions, turmeric, cumin, cardamom, or nutmeg, and then it is grilled, baked, fried, or roasted, depending on the cook's taste.

Kafta Mania is a Food Truck serving three versions of the Kafta Sandwich (beef, Turkey, Vegetarian) with some wholesome goodness in each sandwich with different spices and flavors for the different variations. In addition, Kafta Mania Food Truck will be serving other Classic Lebanese Sandwiches as well as sides. Every once in a while we will be serving a special of the day from the vast Lebanese cuisine.
