Job Description
Provide program support to Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) 2.0 Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP). Candidate will work closely with the Government Leads to manage SEWIP concerns and provide general recommendations and assistance to the SEWIP Principle Acquisition Program Manager (PAPM) and Acquisition Program Managers (APM) as needed.
* Active Security Clearance.
* Bachelors Degree:Technical degree highly desired.
* 3:7 years experience in a technical field or DoD program office.
* Demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrated ability to multi:task, provide high quality services and products, while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints.
* Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment with a wide variety of
programmatic/technical challenges.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills; ability to hold a professional conversation and listen closely.
* Proficiency with MS Office suite.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Demonstrated forward thinking and proactive problem solving skills with the ability to proactively capture tasking from clients.
* Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
* Familiarity with the DoD Acquisition Process:Combat Systems and/or engineering background preferred.
* Experience working in an acquisition program office environment, with documentation, protocols, formats, and deadlines.
* Above Water Warfare Sensor experience.
* Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
* Quality Control (ISO 9001) experience.
Job Description:
Support to the SEWIP PAPM and his team of Acquisition Program Managers (APM). Direct support to the AN/SLQ:32(V)6 Acquisition Program Manager (APM). Provide recommendations for process improvements that raise efficiency leading to reduced cost of operations. Schedule generation (R and D, Testing, Installation and In:service) using Milestones Professional. Host on:site conferences and meetings in SPA spaces. Compile weekly PEO IWS 2.0 and SEWIP staff meeting inputs. Daily coordination telecoms with functional leads, field activities, and external stakeholders on behalf of the APMs. Program calendar management. Program briefing preparation for senior stakeholders. Daily interaction and coordination with Government Leads to prioritize efforts and ensure staff coverage at the right time. Tracking, routing and following up on program correspondence.
