The Field Advisor position is a great opportunity for experienced trade professionals, trade school graduates, trade apprentices, etc... who do not want to be confined to an office and enjoy traveling throughout their assigned multi:state territory.
RoofingSources Field Advisors work independently and are responsible for performing service calls, including small repairs of low:sloped roof systems including TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM maintenance. In addition to technical work, Field Advisors are responsible for building relationships and consulting with owners and/or facility managers in their specific region.
Team members who began in the Field Advisor position have advanced into foremen, superintendents, strategic account sales, project management, and other management career opportunities.

:Alexandria, VA and surrounding States Territory
:Chicago and surrounding States Territory
:Cleveland and surrounding States Territory
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
:Performing service calls,
repairs/maintenance in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines
:Ensuring the jobs final quality
:Completing all reporting documents via tablets and/or smartphones.
:Making recommendations to management for constant improvement of processes
Work Environment

The environment will change dependent upon weather conditions. Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife : birds, rodents, etc (living and/or dead).
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Heavy lifting (50 lbs), twisting, bending, use of both hands and arms, kneeling, squatting, standing and/or walking for long periods, climbing ladders and/or scaffolding.
Position Type Expected Hours of Work
This is a full:time position. Overtime may be required. Hours may vary depending on location and need.
The Field Advisor is expected to travel regularly between facilities and projects in multiple states. He/She will be expected to fly by commercial airline (occasionally), drive (medium:duty trucks, pick:ups, and vans) and operate machinery.
:Be able to operate a smartphone and tablet
:Be willing to travel out of town up to two weeks at a time
:Be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, bend repeatedly, climb a ladder 40, and kneel for extended periods of time
:Be able to work in the heat and sub:zero weather
:Have a High School diploma (or equivalent)
:Have a valid Drivers License and clean driving record
:Have no fear of heights
:Possess basic and/or advanced trade experience
:Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
