Operations Manager - Randstad Engineering (Washington)

Sales Operations Manager with a background in manufacturing and or automation as well as inside sales / sales support management experience. You will oversee inside sales and technical staff supporting automation products for industrial and manufacturing applications. Direct hire position in the Seattle, WA area with relocation assistance available. This leader in their segment of industrial automation client offers an entrepreneurial atmosphere; a well established, stable, world wide organization; considerable money to R&D and ground breaking products which will push their continued growth. Responsibilities Oversee a small group of US and international inside sales and technical staff who provide worldwide customer service Assume a proactive role and be a strategic part of mapping out the global structure of the organization Develop and implement process improvements for work orders, inside sales orders and technical support/ help desk Provide technical support and product knowledge for manufacturing automation Develop inside sales and technical staff to recognize business development opportunities and recommend company products Requirements Experience with inside sales / technical help desk / technical support management from a manufacturing environment Must have a technical or engineering background in manufacturing. Experience with automation systems is a big plus Business to Business experience Experience in change management and process improvement as it relates to inside sales and inside technical help desk functions.
