CBRERichmond is seeking a qualified Retail Brokerage Services Team Leader who will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of commercial retail leasing brokerage department and leasing professionals. Responsible for leasing retail space within our growing portfolio including generating prospects, qualifying clients, reporting, lease negotiation and document execution. The Team Leader is appointed by the Managing Director and shall attend regularly scheduled meetings (weekly or bi:weekly) with prepared materials for presentation and discussion per a standard template requested by the Managing Director. Essential Job Responsibilities


Track and expand written landlord and tenant pursuit log based on known current or near:term activity by all local team members.
Research and help assign team members for any target accounts identified by the Managing Director or Director of Asset Services.
Assist Managing Director with assembly of information and materials for new business pitches and agreements upon selection by prospective clients; participation in presentations as requested by Managing Director.
Assist Managing Director with new business section of corporate strategic plan.
Keep tabs on local competition for landlord and tenant services including firms and individual agents.

Assist Managing Director in monitoring under:performing accounts and make recommendations on how to improve performance and enhance marketing plans.
Assist Managing Director to review which properties or tenant accounts may be in need of an adjusted team based on performance or conflicts of interest.
Assist Managing Director to prepare an annual client appreciation plan and budget to include select client visits, holiday gifts, and client requests for charitable giving.


Assist Managing Director to recruit additional team members.
Assist Managing Director to counsel current team members who are under:performing or have significant client concerns.
Assist Managing Director to prepare budget projections and assemble pipeline reports from team members.
Support and encourage cross:selling between lines of business, practice groups, and offices.
Support and encourage compliance with corporate best practices including all legal documentation and policies.

Identify potential prospects and contact them to occupy space within our portfolio
Coordinate and contribute to client pursuits, pitches, and proposals
Canvass local and regional markets for qualified prospects
Develop a client base that generates referrals and leads that produce income for the company
Meet with prospects to show retail space and discuss lease terms
Assist with marketing duties, events, GIS research, and mapping
Draft letters of intent and manage client reporting
Negotiate letters of intent
Negotiate leases from initial inquiry through lease execution
Draft listing agreements and retail team commission vouchers
Focus on teams REIT clients

Education and Experience
Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from four:year college or university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training.
Active Virginia Real Estate License
2+ Years of commerc
