Urban Pace, now a part of The Long & Foster Companies, Inc., provides Development Services - marketing, sales, leasing, and advisory services to real estate developers. Urban Pace is seeking a Research Analyst to provide market data, strategic analytical tools, and insightful interpretation to assist the Urban Pace Executive Team with executing client services and new business pursuits.Market Research Analyst Responsibilities Gather, analyze, interpret, and present real estate trends and information for business development opportunities, client support, and internal analysisCompile and distribute research in the form of narratives, graphics, data summaries, etc. for internal (Brokers, Sales Managers, Marketing) and external (Clients, Press) clientsAnalyze market statistics, generate market reports and/or collateral material based on statistical analysis conductedInterface with regional research resources to produce standardized market reports and customized client researchEducate internal clients on available research tools and resourcesDevelop and maintain a proprietary real estate database ensuring consistently accurate and current dataCreate and analyze spreadsheets utilizing data needed to generate graphs, tables, and written analysis and make recommendations to the Executive TeamGenerate statistics, tables, and graphs used in quarterly market and statistical reportsCreate quarterly market reports to include written analysis explaining statistics and market activity, which may include drafting quarterly write-upCompile statistical data specific to client or service line by translating and converting data to graphs/tables/chartsContribute to the development of specialized real estate market research in other geographic markets on the East Coast. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree; Industry related field of study preferred3+ years of real estate research, related business experience or any similar combination of education and experienceGeneral knowledge of the Washington, DC market and surrounding submarkets is requiredExperience in data managementProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with MRIS and/or other regional real estate listing services preferredStrong data software applications skillsMust possess strong collaboration skills, be able to work under direct supervision as a team member, as well as be able to work independently.Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective listening and critical thinking skillsSome travel will be expected between Philadelphia, Pa and Charleston, SC
