Dynamic Property Management company is looking for...
Fast:Paced, Knowledgeable, Organized,Get It Done Guy or Gal
to fill the role of Leasing/Property Manager based from our Arlington, VA location
ABOUT THE POSITION:
We manage over 500 single family rental properties around the Northern Virginia Area and are looking for a FULL TIME Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with leasing experience to manage a portfolio of individual residential rental properties in our inside the beltway region.
The Leasing Manager is responsible for converting prospects into clients for listing and property management services, upselling additional programs, and for filling vacancies by listing available properties in the MLS and working with Tenant Agents. The Leasing Manager reports directly to the General Manager.
:Must hold an active VA Real Estate Salesperson license
:Total Comp (Base + Incentive) 70:85k
:Full time (40 hrs/week)
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to...
:Following up with leads in order to secure appointments.
:Going on listing appointments and signing prospects to listing and property management agreements.
:Obtaining all necessary information and items needed to list the property.
:Conducting time:capsule inspections of property condition.
:Entering listings into the MLS and preparing other advertising as needed.
:Ensuring proactive communication, at least weekly, with the client throughout the listing period.
:Where necessary, persuading clients to adjust rental amounts and terms of the listing in order to secure a suitable tenant quickly.
:Contacting existing landlord clients and tenants prior to lease expiration to either renew the lease or re:list the property.
:Respond to inquiries from Tenant Agents and others regarding the listing.
:Evaluating rental application packages for completeness.
:Reviewing processed rental application with the client and advising client on appropriate course of action.
:Reviewing leases prepared by admins and getting leases signed.
:Conducting Move:In / Move:Out Inspections.
ABOUT YOU:
You have experience working in the property management industry, or at least the broader real estate sales industry. Your word is your bond...when you say youre going to do something, you do it. People count on you. You apply common sense and good judgement to effectively represent the interest of our landlord clients.
:Must be knowledgeable about Real Estate contracts and laws
:Must be personable with a natural sales ability
:Must be organized and a process:follower : given our size, we have a standardized system, we dont wing it and everyone doesnt get to just do it their way
:Must be able to communicate effectively via phone and email
:Must be comfortable with office computers and software, we work electronically in a few different software systems
:Must be trustworthy and be able to pass a criminal background check
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
:Licensed Virginia Real Estate Agent
:Strong experience in sales/marketing in a service:related industry
:Excellent communication and negotiation skills
:Computer proficiency:Microsoft Office, Matrix, Keystone, Docusign, Propertyware, Infusionsoft
:Attention to detail and compliance with company policies and procedures
:Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to achieve business results
:Maintain a professional demeanor in all work interactions both internally and externally
:Treat all co:workers with respect and work together cooperatively and collaboratively
