Job Description:
Our Leasing Agent provides the first impression of the property and must present a high level of professionalism and unparalleled customer service to sell the product. Your objective is to positively guide potential residents through the entire move:in process. This is accomplished through answering phones and persuading prospective residents to visit the property in a friendly and professional manner, as well as consistent and timely follow:up calls and emails to prospective and/or current residents, conducting property tours, and working with the potential resident to complete their application.

Essential Job Functions:
: Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports, and related information.
: Responsible for proper maintenance of all resident and property files.
: Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to management.
: Courteous, efficient handling of resident complaints
: Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
: Responsible for assisting upper management (whether Assistant Manager or Property Manager) with collection procedures
: Ensure the entire property is clean and presentable for prospective residents and communicate areas to be addressed with management and/or maintenance
: Creatively sell with the ability to provide strategic marketing ideas and plans
: Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Legend Property Groups property portfolio
: Communicate professionally and effectively with prospects and residents.
: Communicate professionally and effectively with co:workers, vendors, and corporate staff.
: Ensure timely response to all communications, including voicemails and emails. Your voicemail box should not be full for more than one hour and all prospect and resident inquiries should mostly be responded to within one hour and never more than twenty:four hours.
: Responsible for meeting all collection related deadlines on the Legend operations calendar
: Work with other property management staff to ensure that someone walks every turned unit before move:ins to check for cleanliness and maintenance issue status.
: Assist property management with planning and conducting resident functions
: Utilize excellent problem solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills
: Deliver top:notch service to help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention possible
: Be knowledgeable of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies.
: Routinely listen to call center recordings to analyze the accuracy and professionalism of the information provided
: Provide market studies and have a good knowledge of concessions, availability, and pricing in the market
: Work with Marketing and Technology Coordinator to post additional Craigslist advertisements as necessary to drive traffic and keep vacancy under 5 at all times
