The Assistant Property Manager position at Legend Property Group is essential to keeping our state:of:the:art apartment buildings full and our residents happy. Job Description:
Our Assistant Property Managers provide support to the Property Manager and assume a leadership role in their absence. Together, with the Property Manager, this role is responsible for the overall operation, and the day:to:day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well:managed, well:maintained community. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and federal, state, and local laws; maintains acceptable and supportive environment for all residents; manages site staff and their duties, interacts with and supervises vendors.

Essential Job Functions:
:
Actively involved in collection procedures and courts process
:
Distribute all company or community:issued notices
:
Update and maintain reports so that accurate resident and property statistics are reflected.
:
Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information.
:
Responsible for overseeing proper maintenance of all resident and property files.
:
Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents that need to be addressed by property manager or upper management.
:
Courteous, Efficient handling of resident complaints
:
Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
:
Creatively sell with the ability to provide strategic marketing ideas and plans
:
Communicate professionally and effectively with prospects and residents.
:
Communicate professionally and effectively with co:workers, vendors, and corporate staff.
:
Ensure timely response to all communications, including voicemails and emails. Your voicemail box should not be full for more than one hour and all prospect and resident inquiries should mostly be responded to within one hour and never more than twenty:four hours.
:
Responsible for meeting all collection related deadlines on the Legend operations calendar
:
Work with other property management staff to ensure that someone walks every turned unit before move:ins to check for cleanliness and maintenance issue status.
:
Utilize excellent problem solving, listening and deductive reasoning skills
:
Deliver top:notch service to help insure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention possible.
:
Be knowledgeable of lease terms, specification, and all community policies.
:
Become proficient with the Yardi System
:
Routinely listen to call center recordings to analyze the accuracy and professionalism of the information provided
:
Provide market studies and have a good knowledge of concessions, availability, and pricing in the market
:
Work with Marketing and Technology Coordinator to post additional Craigslist advertisements as necessary to drive traffic and k
