Ingleside at Rock Creek, a premier retirement community is seeking an experience, customer service focused, creative and passionate about older adults professional to work as our Memory Care Coordinator.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Service field (Gerontology, Social Work, Recreation Therapy) or similar is preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience, with senior population living with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Certified dementia practitioner preferred. Must have long term or assisted living experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

This primary purpose of this position is to develop, plan, organize and implement the day-to-day functions of the Memory Care programs at Ingleside at Rock Creek, in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community.

Job Requirements

Must have long term or assisted living experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Must have at least one (1) year management experience in a dementia care environment and working with memory impaired seniors.
Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
