Apply today Description: Manage and supervise up to 80 associates according to the different Departments. They are responsible for the coordination, evaluation and overall direction of the assigned department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Harris Teeters policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities vary depending on the specific department and may include interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (in English). Ability to write simple correspondence (in English). Ability to effectively present information in one:on:one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates of the organization who only speak English. COMPUTER SKILLS. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of HT Internet software; E:mail; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY. Ability common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, TRAINING Complete Companys training including but not limited to: new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, customer service clerk technical skills, floor monitor technical skills, and Department manager training.
