Job description

NCTA seeks a collaborative, energetic and creative web producer to join a productive communications team that manages the association’s digital presence, including several web properties. This individual will contribute to the design and development of misc. creative projects plus help ensure that all of NCTA’s online platforms are contemporary, vibrant and effective.


Monitor and ensure that web platforms are consistently refreshed, current and utilize best practices for UX/UI.
Propose creative solutions (including multimedia) and ideas for display of website content and other digital projects.
Develop and design HTML emails and email templates.
Create new pages and layouts on the organization’s existing websites.
Implement web traffic tools and SEO tactics on all the organization’s sites.
Monitor overall web site performance and provide traffic statistic reports.
Work with external vendors to help set project requirements and monitor development processes.
Manage web content files, licenses and other digital assets.
Assist in troubleshooting web issues and providing help to other team members on content production and creation.


A bachelor’s or relevant associates degree and one to three years of professional experience in web content production, online publishing or a related field.
Significant experience working with Drupal 8 and Wordpress.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and other web coding technology.
Understanding of Google Analytics.
Ability to design custom emails and manage email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
Experience and comfort working in Adobe Create Suite.
An energetic self-starter with collaborative skills and the ability to perform well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, be detail oriented and manage multiple projects.
Willingness for continuous learning and participation in educational/training opportunities that expand the personal skill set and expertise.
Stay abreast of current web trends and research to ensure NCTA properties are up-to-date.
