Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be involved in all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, testing, implementation, and production support. In addition to performing software development, the Developer will be supporting development efforts and performing software development functions in a small project setting.
● Understand the software development life cycle, and familiarity with an information engineering approach to development.
● Familiar with all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering, analysis and design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
● Support InterSystems Caché application based on the Massachusetts General Hospital Utility Multi-Programming System (MUMPS) code for web and desktop applications.
● Perform database design, updates, queries, and generate reports.
● Develop and test applications and integration of functionality as needed to ensure compliance with DoD standards.
● Ensure secure coding practices are adhered to in all phases of the secure development lifecycle.
