The Senior Analyst will support the Middle Office function for Hilton's Treasury group, which is responsible for managing global financial risk, funding, and liquidity. The Middle Office designs, implements and maintains treasury infrastructure, including technology, process, controls, static data, and information management, ensuring that global treasury functions operate efficiently and effectively.

What will I be doing?

The Senior Analyst of Treasury Middle Office will report to the Manager of Treasury Middle Office and will interface with colleagues in Treasury and Finance, as well as with vendors, bankers and other external partners. The Senior Analyst role will require the motivation to work independently, the maturity to coordinate team efforts and the ability to synthesize information across various disciplines, including financial management, project management and information technology.

Other key priorities are listed below:
  • Support the administration of the Global Treasury Management System (GTMS) by creating, storing, and maintaining accurate static data; reviewing and controlling scheduled and ad-hoc activities; understanding and supporting the configuration and implementation of new functionalities; providing assistance to global users; and other tasks related to GTMS
  • Support the administration of Hilton's global bank account portfolio, including system administration of bank accounts in the U.S. and other countries
  • Perform daily middle office tasks with minimal supervision
  • Provide support to the Treasury Accounting function through daily and monthly accounting of all corporate treasury related transactions; provide information on internal and external audit requirements; ensure compliance with internal controls; and maintain GTMS Accounting configuration
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of department processes and procedures
  • Assist with developing solutions for process improvements, automation, reporting, and other projects to fulfill technology requirements for global Treasury
  • Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with other Treasury teams and senior management
  • Research and respond to information requests from internal departments and management
  • Support other standard treasury functions and special projects as deemed necessary

Job Requirements

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in either a Treasury or general Finance function or a technology role supporting a Treasury or general Finance function
  • Ability to travel as required (15%)

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Experience implementing, maintaining and/or using a major Treasury Management System (Wall Street Systems) or a major Financial System (a treasury system, ERP or planning system) in a global organization
  • Experience with process improvement, business analysis and/or project management
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
  • Experience implementing and/or using a treasury or financial management system
  • Experience as an end user and/or administrator working on or with an external bank platform
  • Familiarity with the basic principles of Treasury Management, including any of the following Capital Markets (debt and equity transactions), Financial Risk Management (FX/IR hedging), Credit Markets, Cash and Liquidity Management, Forecasting and Analysis, Banking Relations and Bank Administration
  • Familiarity with bank interface formats and technology, especially SWIFT, BAI and eBam
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, pivot tables and report writing
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation
