Role and Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Director Make inquiries with District government agencies to determine programs they may have available that the Institute can participate in. Example; Careen Connection, Project Empowerment, and LEAP.
Assist the Executive Director with the completion of applications required for the Institute to deliver training.
Maintain all Institute's data bases related to student administration, grant requirements and government agencies.
Assist the Instructors with planning and scheduling various auto tech courses.
Attend meetings at the request of the Executive Director.

Qualifications/Skills and Education Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 3-5 years overall professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in public administration, education, social services or a related field.
A background in education and training.
A background in data management.
Demonstrated commitment to improving the life opportunities of others; sensitivity to the needs of diverse racial and ethnic populations.
Team player with a commitment to professional development for affiliate staff
Superior level of interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
